Mr. Diez assisted producer/director Russ Meyer on 20th Century Fox’sBeyond The Valley of the Dolls” and “The Seven Minutes.” He did extensive rewrites for both screenplays. In South Florida he wrote numerous training films for Esso and for the Miami-Dade County School System, two of which won Silver and Bronze Medals at the New York International Film Festival. Along the way Diez wrote motivational films for a variety of companies such as: Burger King, Del Monte, Carnival Cruise Lines, ProSource, Pizza Hut and Texaco. He also wrote several documentaries, including one for the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach, which won a Gabriel Award. Diez has written 54 feature-length screenplays, ten plays for the theatre including And Then She Moved the Furniture, four self-help books including the best-selling Meeting Women 101, a play for NPR, a novel, and the book for the musical “Casablanca By Night.”

Susan T. Lindau

Susan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Los Angeles. She took postmaster's courses at the Washington School of Psychiatry (Washington, DC) and completed intensive training as a DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) clinician and in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. She teaches in the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California and lectures at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Susan has published opinion pieces on mental health issues in Southern California regional papers, and is currently completing a general audience guide Therapist of Last Resort. Her novel Comfort Food is also in the works.

Pam Vetter

Celebrant Pam Vetter is known for conducting personal funeral services in the Los Angeles area for celebrities, film crewmembers, and professionals. In early 2005, she earned her certification as a Funeral Celebrant through training with the In-Sight Institute at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. After conducting high-profile funerals, she quickly gained national attention for funeral services that focused on storytelling. 

Vetter also continues work as a journalist, writing feature stories about interesting people who are trying to change the world.

Previously, she worked in the film industry at HBO Pictures, Fox Filmed Entertainment, and Fox Broadcasting Company. Vetter started her career in Lancaster, PA in Television News at WGAL-TV and Radio News at WLPA/WNCE. While working in radio as a news anchor and reporter, Vetter earned several awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasting for feature stories, live coverage, and spot news.

Lisa de Vincent
 

Lisa de Vincent spent 10 years working her way through the art world of Palm Beach, which gave her more than enough material for her next 10 writing projects. Besides fine-tuning a treatment for a TV series, she is currently working on a horror screenplay, a murder mystery, and various short stories. Lisa was a finalist in last year’s Glimmer Train’s “Very Short Fiction Contest.” She was also a contributor for B. J. Taylor’s “The Complete Guide to Writers Groups That Work” and was an editor for “Sizzling Cold Case” by Buddy Ebsen with Darlene Quinn.

A graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Communications and a Film & Television Certificate, Lisa recently joined the board of Independent Writers of Southern California as interim secretary.
